The concept I wanted to infiltrate into this image was a spiritual connection experienced in music creation. Everything is "clicking". The players are all in sync. The performance is at it's peak. The conductor is at his moment. The final note brings down the house.
In a considerable number of the images I create, the "softened dreamlike quality" they posses, is a signature style I like to emulate. I seem to have an attraction for dream-state images and "The Final Note" certainly falls into that category.
The elements that make up the final composite are displayed by the thumbnails below. Each plays a distinctive and symbolic role. Think of them as a part of the story. An allegory if you will.
The following images were used to complete the "Starfeild Composite" above. Each was originallly captured as sunlight reflections on water. Each was layered in photoshop to allow for future editing and creative composition arrangement.
